This story recaps the Chinese stock market’s performance in 2015. To avoid the usual dry presentations of business news, I took an "immersive" story-telling approach: Since the market felt like a roller-coaster ride last year --- I literally climbed into a roller coaster seat and did my on-camera presentation on the ride. My expression of agitated horror as I talked to the camera while being swung in mid-air did a perfect job reflecting that of many investors as they stared at a full computer screen of plunging stocks.
The news story was critically acclaimed at CCTV – the producers were impressed with the analogy and the story won the second place of the seasonal best reporting award of 2015.
